2.0 COMMENCEMENT
The meeting commenced at 12:49pm with short prayer offered by Mr. Haruna Ismaila and was presided over by the Chairman who welcomed everyone present and thanked them for suspending their tight schedule to attend the third edition of AUDSS-Connect meeting.
3.0 MATTERS ARISING
3.1 He acknowledged the presence of Mr. Rotimi Soyege (Former CRK Teacher) whose immense contributions have added value to the connect project, not forgetting all set above and below the 91-set present at the meeting.
However, the Chairman appealed to all present that the last minutes of meeting was not prepared because the two Secretaries saddled with the responsibility of preparing minutes of meetings were unavoidably absent at the last meeting.
Thereafter, it was at this point the Chairman invited Mr. Soyege Rotimi to address the meeting. Mr. Soyege commenced his opening speech with a song thanking God for a day like this, where He was privileged to be seated with his old students who have now transformed to Men. Furthermore, He felt elated to be amongst us after 27years 1991 set graduated from Ansar Ud Deen Secondary School (AUDSS) we could still remember Him and others (Co. Teachers) for good. He took us back to memory lane by reminding the meeting that the class of 91 was the first set He lectured in 1987 when He was deployed into AUDSS. He went on to express His disappointment at the proscription of Ansar Ud Deen Secondary School (AUDSS) and urged influential members in the larger society to seek redress and reversal of this decision. In conclusion, members were advised to be of help to one another as all fingers are not equal.
3.2 FINANCIAL UPDATES
The Chairman apologized to members that printed copies of the financial update of members and other expenses were not adequate, but urged members to take advantage of the AUDSS-Connect website and all the various platforms in existence for a broader update of all financial transactions etc.
3.3 INCOME AND EXPENDITURE
The Chairman informed the meeting that the Income and Expenditure between July 2017 – May 2018 is at the total sum of ₦793,350.He said the sum of ₦170,000 has been earmarked for Business Partners (BP) a private initiative project by few kind-hearted individuals to help some of our colleagues who are into business, which He was happy to announce that the businesses are doing well, and the refund of loans too was prompt. 3.4 THRIFT UPDFATE
The existence of two Thrift systems running simultaneously was brought to the fore, with members contributing ₦150,000 to collect ₦950,000 when it is their turn, while members that contribute ₦20,000 will also receive ₦220,000 rotationally with the primary aim of adding positive value to the purchasing power of participants. The Chairman further said that there is a flexible plan in the pipeline to commence rift of ₦40,000 monthly to encourage those that want to participate to also benefit from, which the Exco members are deliberating on. He enjoined all members to key into this to broaden members’ source of income. In addition, contributions are received latest 25th of each month and before one can participate here, two sureties amongst the participants must stand for a new member to guide against default.
3.5 DUES PAYMENT
Members were advised to pay up their annual dues as erring members will not be inducted at the upcoming Gala/Award night coming up on 20th October 2018.
3.6 REUNION PARTY/CARD PAYMENT
The Chairman implored members to endeavor to pay up for Invitation card for the upcoming Gala/Award Night coming up on 20th October 2018 as He informed that the invitation cards has being heavily subsidized to cost ₦10,000.00 only for participants. Benefit of buying and attending the event include amongst others, a buffet, beach outing at barracuda beach, provision for entertainment and refreshment, provision of a disc Jockey (DJ) and above all adequate security. He encouraged members that want to pay installment to kindly do so and members that have pledged should also kindly redeem their pledges on or by the end of August 30th, 2018. Notice of all pledges redeemed should be communicated to the General House (GH) platform for proper acknowledgement and documentation. Fund raising strategy like sales of invitation cards which qualifies members to a raffle draw with three tablets to be won are some of the aggressive strategy geared towards raising additional fund for the Gala Night. Members can also bring their children to the beach on the condition that Exco members are duly notified to prepare for other logistics in earnest, but Children are not allowed into the Gala Night because access to the hall shall be strictly by invitation cards presently on sale. 3.8 DRESS CODE
Men are expected to be on black suit, white shirt and lemon/yellow bow tie. While ladies are expected to put on evening gown, scalf, hand band, yellow/green necklace.
3.9 TRANSPORTATION
A 32-seater bus was being arranged to carter for to and fro movement of members to the beach. Those that are also mobile are also enjoined to bring on their cars for comfort and convenience.
A red carpet is also expected for early comers with side event like photo shoot and light interview of few selected members etc.
3.9 AOB
Mr. Benjamin inquired on what was the motive(s) of associating with the AUDSS-Connect, when did the AUDSS-Connect and thrift commenced? He also liked to know if there was any constitution guiding the connect? He was also inquisitive on the cost of the annual dues.
The Chairman in responding said the AUDSS-Connect started since July 2017 and the annual dues to be paid by members are as follows;
Members in Diaspora ₦10,000
Members in Nigeria ₦6000
On the issue of constitution, the Chairman responded in affirmative and further said a committee came up with all conditions for membership which is on the website and platforms for further clarity.
Other sets present in the meeting were told to introduce themselves, which they all obliged to and spoke glowingly about the concept and love they found amongst us in the connect.
The need to amalgamate all other sets to have a common body was also emphasized by Mr. Ayo Babalola and passionately canvassed by other sets present. The Chairman in responding said the class of are not averse to amalgamation of the entire set. He observed that 1992 set being presided over by Mr. Ebenezer runs presidential system which is contrary to the 1991 set that runs executive committee-based system.

The meeting adjourned at 3;10pm following a motion for adjournment moved by Mrs. Abiodun George Otegbade and seconded by Benjamin Ojuluwayo. Next meeting to hold in September 2018.

MINUTES OF MEETING OF INAUGURAL MEETING OF AUDSS 1991 SET HELD ON SATURDAY 11TH NOVEMBER, 2017 AT FLOURISHING BUKA 60 OGULANA DRIVE, SURULERE LAGOS.

3.0 MATTERS ARISING
3.1 INTRODUCTION OF EXCO/WEBSITE
There was an introduction of the Exco members with the different committees they serve in.
Also, the various platform such as the AUDSSCONNECT91, Directory AUDSSCONNECT91, were mentioned, members were urged to regularly visit the website to avail us all of the regular information therein.
3.2 FINANCIAL UPDATES
The Chairman apologizes to members that copies of the details of financial update could not be printed and made available as at the time of this meeting due to constraints, but assured redress in subsequent meetings.
3.3 ANNUAL DUES
The Chairman informed the meeting that annual dues to be paid by each member are categorized as follows:

Members in Nigeria ₦6000.00
3.4 THRIFT UPDATE

3.5 BUSINESS UPDATE
Arch. Kenneth Ozigbo told members of the immense opportunity in the Agro Allied business with a particular interest in Castor Oil Seed and cucumber. He further said that the issue of finance due to bank documentation processes had made it difficult to kick start the business coupled with divergent views of members. He went on to inform members that a sum of ₦1.2million is on standby for the Haulage business held in trust on behalf of Nelson, Abayomi, and Collins.
3.6 MEMBERSHIP PARTICIPATION
The Chairman implored members to always endeavor to get more members connected to the platform regardless of the proximity constraints. He said this is one of the major fulcra of the connect.
3.7 UPCOMING OMOLABAKE'S FATHER BURIAL
The planned trip to Owo in Ondo State for the final burial rites of Late High Chief Joseph Olupona on 16th December 2017 was also discussed. All the Aso ebi that was brought (10) in number was all taken up by members. It was also announced that there will be free transportation to and fro, hotel accommodation and feeding for members interested in embarking on the trip.
3.8 AUDSSCONNECT 91 YEAR 2018 PARTY
The issue of having an end of the year party slated for December 2018 with members spouse and their children were also discussed. It was agreed that the first of its kind would take place Next year December 2018, where most of our Brothers/Sisters in diaspora had signified their intentions to be around for the get to gather
3.9 AOB
Engr. Dapo Akinnawonu urged members to consider an upward review of monetary reward to members for all occasions.
Mr. Shoniran differs and further said the monetary reward of 20,000.00 He received for his father burial from members was in order.
The Chairman further said an ad-hoc committee was set up in the past to deliberate on the issue of monetary reward for the member having occasions which Engr. Dapo Akinnawonu might not be aware of. In addition, He recalled a scenario where 10 people were bereaved which amounted to dipping into the purse of the Association up to the tune of ₦500,000.00 instead of ₦200,000.00 which would have been the case if the amount was pegged at ₦20,000.00 only.
Mr. Kerian thanked AUDSSCONNECT 91 set for hosting and stretching the hands of fellowship to them. He enumerated a weak Center and urge members to partner with them on way forward in revamping the Center. He explained steps they have taken In the past to redress this anomaly and pleaded with the 91 set to team up with them at the Centre by nominating people to represent the set when the need arises to do so.
Mr. Bawa affirmed to all issued raised above by Mr. Kerian.
The Chairman informed the house on effort AUDSSCONNECT 91 had painstakingly taken to unite with the center, which from all indication will yield the much-desired result.
Mrs. Faminu Adebola suggested members should kindly do a formal introduction which was done.
4.0 CLOSING REMARKS
The meeting adjourned at 1:38pm following a motion for adjournment moved by Mrs. Moji Vincent Dada and seconded by Arc. Kenneth Ozigbo. Meetings are to hold quarterly, whilst the next meeting is scheduled to hold on March 2018.
