3.4 THRIFT UPDFATE
The existence of two Thrift systems running simultaneously was brought to the fore, with members contributing ₦150,000 to collect ₦950,000 when it is their turn, while members that contribute ₦20,000 will also receive ₦220,000 rotationally with the primary aim of adding positive value to the purchasing power of participants. The Chairman further said that there is a flexible plan in the pipeline to commence rift of ₦40,000 monthly to encourage those that want to participate to also benefit from, which the Exco members are deliberating on. He enjoined all members to key into this to broaden members’ source of income. In addition, contributions are received latest 25th of each month and before one can participate here, two sureties amongst the participants must stand for a new member to guide against default.
3.5 DUES PAYMENT
Members were advised to pay up their annual dues as erring members will not be inducted at the upcoming Gala/Award night coming up on 20th October, 2018.
3.6 REUNION PARTY/CARD PAYMENT
The Chairman implored members to endeavour to pay up for Invitation card for the upcoming Gala/Award Night coming up on 20th October, 2018 as He informed that the invitation cards has being heavily subsidized to cost ₦10,000.00 only for participants. Benefit of buying and attending the event include amongst others, a buffet, beach outing at barracuda beach, provision for entertainment and refreshment, provision of a disc Jockey (DJ) and above all adequate security. He encouraged members that want to pay instalmentally to kindly do so and members that have pledged should also kindly redeem their pledges on or by the end of August 30th 2018. Notice of all pledges redeemed should be communicated to the General House (GH) platform for proper acknowledgement and documentation. Fund raising strategy like sales of invitation cards which qualifies members to a raffle draw with three tablets to be won are some of the aggressive strategy geared towards raising additional fund for the Gala Night. Members can also bring their children to the beach on the condition that Exco members are duly notified so as to prepare for other logistics in earnest, but Children are not allowed into the Gala Night because access to the hall shall be strictly by invitation cards presently on sale. The breakdown of payment for reunion party/card payment were further analysed in tabular form below;

3.9 AOB
Mr Benjamin inquired on what was the motive(s) of associating with the Audssconnect, when did the Audssconnect and thrift commenced? He also liked to know if there was any constitution guiding the connect? He was also inquisitive on the cost of the annual dues.
The Chairman in responding said the Audssconnect started since July 2017 and the annual dues to be paid by members are as follows;
Members in Diaspora ₦10,000
Members in Nigeria ₦6000
On the issue of constitution, the Chairman responded in affirmative and further said a committee came up with all conditions for membership which is on the website and platforms for further clarity.
Other sets present in the meeting were told to introduce themselves, which they all obliged to and spoke glowingly about the concept and love they found amongst us in the connect.
The need to amalgamate all other sets to have a common body was also emphasized by Mr. Ayo Babalola and passionately canvassed by other sets present. The Chairman in responding said the 1991 set are not adversed to amalgamation of the entire set. He observed that 1992 set being presided over by Mr. Ebenezer runs presidential system which is contrary to the 1991 set that runs executive committee based system.
